Here’s what the world flag would look like, if you took all the flags of each country and overlayed them on top of each other. Transparency of each flag is determined by the population of that particular country. If I started a country, this is what I’d pick, I think. Maybe someone from the United Nations will be in touch.

The design that you are showing here is something that is not reproducible as the subtlety of colors is hard to convey and people would not be able to relate to it without first being told that it correlates with the world’s population.
